Cream or Jam First?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/8693450.stm

It's not quite as fundamental as the chicken or egg question, but when it comes to making the perfect scone, it's a decision you have to make. Personally, and I have plenty of experience with this, it entirely depends on the consistency of the cream. They have to sit on top of each other without mixing, thus the heaviest, densest, thickest... has to come first. Therefore, if we're discussing the proper, quintessential cream tea involving nothing but the best clotted cream, well then obviously it has to be cream first!

The best way to prove this theory is to try it. It tastes good too :)

Blog Summary Assignement: A Popular Hung Parliament?

Dear all,

This is your political assignment this week. Below are two links for your use. The first is an explanation of a hung parliament. You should NOT summarise this article; it is merely to explain and help you when you summarise the second article/link.

READ:

SUMMARISE:

Most of you seem to be getting to grips with this so keep up the good work and watch out for my comments! They're on their way...

Some Dutch for thought!

Dear all,

A little article Koen came across and I thought I'd share with you as it seems topical. It's also interesting to see that there are still some Brits that can speak a second language!
